Pure nickel: The Holy Grail,
I only use these strings on my Baja Telecaster, because they seem to take the edge off of the ‘ice-pick’ sound one can get from a Tele. The other reason is longterm fret wear will be less with nickel. These strings are excellent for my uses in my band or church: I can get the smooth jazzbox sound and dial up a twangy country sound. I get reasonable wear from these strings without being expensive. And they’re made in the USA, so my nationalistic concerns are satisfied. I use nickel-plated strings for my Stratocasters, preferably bullets.

works fine. great buy. can’t go wrong with fender. produces a nice sound to it. well, i guess it depends on who plays and how it’s played.

I very much enjoy playing with these strings. They have a very full sound and have a nice feel. The seller was truthful about the product being sold and it came in the mail when expected.
