The Herb Ellis ES-165 is an amazingly beutiful jazz guitar in sound and appearance. I bought the wine red model, and its looks far surpass the ones in the photos. The action is perfect, as they are professionally set up by the Gibson Custom guitar advisors. This premium instrument has the tone you come to expect from Gibson. I play it through a little Fender amp, which delivers the warm, and at the same time, crisp, clean tone.
They’re certainly not cheap, by any means… but worth every penny!!!
