Neil Youngs performance on the friday was just awsome – I do not use this word lightly he totally rocked – at the end of one song there was just silence while the crowd just looked at each other open mouthed relising they had just seen the best bit of guitar mastery they would ever witness – and then we all went mental! – the last shot of the gibson standing there with all the strings hanging off it knowing it had been played like never before and it had no more to give will stay with me always.

he didnt play “Old Man” his setlist is on the bbc website and they showed less than half his set on tv which sucked.

Hell yeah, he’s had that Les Paul for about 40 years. It’s certainly stood the test of time.

Old Black took a bit of abuse after ‘A Day In The Life’. He snapped all the strings on the GLP Goldtop and then proceeded to make noise by knocking a mic stand against the pick-ups. lol
